- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I hope nobody has to endure the harshness and crudeness of Dr. Shokat and his so called PA. Dr. Shokat was very harsh to my daughter (19), until he did a new MRI and found out that she did have a reason to be in pain. Her bulging disc was bulging a little more and she now has arthritis in the spine. With her having no insurance, they told us that they would keep her comfortable until we could get the injections in the spine. Every visit was torture for my daughter, the way they talked to her. Constantly doing urine tests for hard drugs, even though they kept coming back negative. Now they have kicked her out of the program, because they feel that most of the pain is psychosomatic. Sure she is having issues with depression because she is tired of being in so much pain. They are stopping her pain meds, they want her to suffer. Then the next sentence they said, come back when you get ready for the injections. It will be a cold day before I take my daughter back to them and they talk to her like she is a dog and a drug addict. She is a 19 years old and is tired of hurting and everybody thinking that it is all in her head.December 22, 2016by CryCryBlueSkyz
